I survived my foodborne test. Small miracles are abundant! It is FREEZING here in my part of Canada, which always sucks. There's lots of drift ice that doesn't appear to be going anywhere .. the wind is cold& bitter ..bright side?! I survived foodborne. First, I had to survive my school being on fire and standing outside with the girls waiting for the firefighters to let us back in. It was cold and I was not dressed for an extended outdoor adventure. If I had of had my camera (common lament in my world. Constantly saying I'm going to take it everywhere& never following through on it), it would have been a good photo opportunity! I think you can tell where this is going ..no photo of the day from me yet :(
In honor of surviving my adventure to CBU today, I'm sitting here watching Full House and thinking that even though Ashley& Mary-Kate are adults now, I still find them just as cute as when they were little tiny girls! I am watching the episode where Jesse gets married. It's alright and certainly beats what I was doing this time yesterday --studying!
I am also going shopping tonight ..which would be WAY more exciting if we lived somewhere like Halifax or Edmonton. As it stands, I'll shop at Smart Set because I love it there and probably end up not buying much of anything. I really want spring clothes, even though it's -11C out and snowing. It may help put me in the mood for spring, if nothing else! I wish we had a Marc Jacobs& that I could afford it. I'm going to try incredibly hard to buy no jeans. No cardigans (let's be real ..I don't NEED any more cardigans). Some pretty spring tops and lots of trying things on. If I make that a promise now, I will for sure stick to it. Especially if I drag Garret along and make him play fashion police. Why is my boyfriend better at picking out clothes for me than I am?! Oh well, I will reward him with an Orange Julius and he will be more than happy!
Before shopping can begin, however, I must do Insanity. It won't be so bad, assuming I can gather the energy. I am a little wore out from studying for about 14hrs. Not to mention my body is totally over sleep, seeing as I only got 75 minutes worth last night. Oh well .. now I want cake (thanks, wedding episode& Cake Wrecks)! So, on that note .. I will leave you with a fabulous singer since I have no photo for you.
Hope you don't mind ..the artist I'm leaving you with is Sam Means. His song is Yeah, yeah. It's really good! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
So, sorry for a completely rambling post. I am just so excited to have done well on that stupid test. Plus, I'm tired AND hungry AND there is no cake in my house!!

Thank you, Tim Hortons!
Apparently, Timmy reads my blog! Today, I went to my last Occ. Hygiene lab (WOOHOO!) and then when I got home, Garret was here! So we hit up Wendys ..he is a BAD influence on me. I blame him for all my poor nutritional decisions. That is easier than owning up to it LOL! The point is, after that we went to Tim Hortons, where a magical transformation occured.
I WON A FREE COFFEE(Tea, in my situation)! Garret lost. Ner-ner-ner-ner-ner-ner .. sucks to be you, boyfriend ;)
How awesome is that?! I am considering framing this photo! Thanks, Timmy .. for both reading my blog& taking prompt action to correct the situation. I feel vindicated! Victory is mineeeeeee :)
Okay.. so aside from that, today is semi-nice out. It's sunny, there's minimal wind, there is still ice in the water though& it's still freezing. So, it's nice that I am not missing a beautiful day today by studying. Life, you could be good. Especially if you make my Friday warm and delightful, since I only have 1 class. I would like it to be warm enough for me to practice driving my motorcycle ..so please, keep your fingers crossed! Today would have been an ideal outdoor photography day, however it is still a little chilly& I am still lazy. So, instead I went to my trusty lightbox and got an indoor photo. What can I say, I'm so not a fan of being cold AT ALL.
So, overall, my day has been pretty non-exciting. I almost got hit by a red Civic in the CBU parking lot, which was fairly exhilarating. I would prefer to not have my car be in an accident, thanks a lot boy in the Civic. Then, I had to park incredibly far away from the school. That lead to walking for to get to my lab .. I ran into Barry& Marg .. I ended up being 5 minutes late for lab. Good start to the last lab ahahah after arriving, it was smooth sailing!
And now I'm home, I've eaten lunch and won a free tea .. Dr. Phil is teaching me how dysfunctional people can be (which is nice. Especially on days you're feeling particularly dysfunction yourself!) and also teaching me how excited I should be that I didn't have a baby as a teen& that I have parents who don't date 18yr olds. Thanks, Mom& Dad! You guys rock :) After my daily life lesson with the good doctor, I will be heading towards opening that file folder named 'Foodborne Test 2' and studying my evening away. I hope that it's not as painful as I am imagining it will be ..argh. Oh well, after all the sleep I got last night, I should be well rested enough for a full night of focusing& learning.
In fact, last night I got SO much sleep I missed 45 minutes of Intervention and ALL of Heavy :( What a disaster. I will be watching them as repeats sometime soon, thankfully! On that note, I'm going to devote my attention to the TV ..so I will leave you with my photo of the day. It's a shoe! A shoe for -scrubbing? Maybe .. it has very soft bristles. It's cute ..wasn't sure which photo to pick, I don't overly love the focus of it after uploading it but, lazy wins once again! I'm not re-taking it ahaha
Hope that you all have a lovely Tuesday afternoon& evening! I also hope that you are not studying for a hateful exam coming up in the near future .. and good luck if you are in the same boat as me!

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!
Today is a good day .. it involves lots of the color green, midgets, gold tokens, clovers& yes, sometimes even liquor. Today, my day consisted of only the first - lots of things green! Too bad dad isn't a little shorter ..he would make a good leprechaun. He arrived home today, so we celebrated with spaghetti& cake!
Before all this, I got the boyfriend. We did a Tim's date (two times. Before& after supper. He won 1/2 times, I won 0/2. Yeah. Whatever, Tim. Whatever) then hit up Orange Julius for an afternoon pick me up (was so beautiful out today!!) and lastly we stopped at Vogue Optical. It only took about 1 month for them to get my second pair of glasses in! They are pretty sweet glasses though, so I guess I can forgive them this one time. So ..that's it, minus what happened in my lab but I'm saving that for down below. Enjoy the read :)
Then I went to buy a bundt cake pan, some cake mix& icing. Mom and I proceeded to make the greenest cake ever (seriously.) and then some green icing! So, while waiting for the cake to cool, what happens?
Garret arrives .. I jokingly ask him to take the cake out of the pan. He attempts. The end result?
Oh, Mr. Garret it is truly funny that you would do that considering Mom& I had just finished having a discussion about how my food always tastes delicious but the presentation sucks! Thank you for lending a hand in continuing that trend ;) Oh well ..at least you guys can see how awesome the cake was! Lovee it. It is also delicious. Just not the prettiest looking thing ever. I may submit it to Cake Wrecks just for laughs!
So, aside from my laughter about the cake debacle& supper (which was SO good), I also have 2 other things to discuss with you folks:
Topic 1: E. coli
So. E. coli is a bacteria that isn't very pleasant& you probably don't want to get it. I'll spare you the details and the scientific stuff and just tell you that it's not fun to be puking and vomiting. In foodborne lab today, my lab partner proceeds to spill a tube FILLED to the brim with E. coli bacteria in it ALLL over everything. Thanks. Then she proceeded to sit down, say sorry quickly and allow me to clean it up. It was delicious ..I have to sterilize my phone, table and eventually myself. I will know if I did a good job sometime tomorrow. How you ask? Remember the part where I told you I baked a cake? LOL. Sorry in advance, parents and boyfriend! My fingers are crossed. Especially since I also ate the cake.
I am also incredibly happy that labs are over and I no longer have to ever work with her again. My desire to avoid foodborne illness directly conflicts with her desire to give it to me.
Topic 2: Tights as Pants
So this is one of my biggest pet peeves. Pants are not tights. Tights are not pants. If you find yourself putting on tights and then putting on a shirt that does not cover your ass / crotch area, you need to rethink this. You need to either replace the too-short shirt or the see-through tights. No one, I repeat NO ONE wants to see that. The only thing that prevents me from pointing out to people how AWFUL of a life decision that is is my sheer unwillingness to speak to people I don't know. If I was anyone else who felt this strongly, I'd be protesting against it on street corners and doing interviews on Live@5! Ugh. Please tell me someone else feels this way?! Whyyyy does this seem to be an ever increasing trend on this little island? Do girls / young women really think their hooha needs to be allowed to be viewed?! Jeeze. Have some respect, ladies.
Now that those 2 thoughts are off my mind, I will present to you my photo of the day. In keeping with the theme of Saint Patrick's day, I have a 365 of the cake. Only this time a little closer, iced, sprinkled and tacked back together to at least try to resemble something edible! It's sort of a cool photo ..I like it because there's 2 of my favorite things; sprinkles& icing :D

I actually hate titles so much I forgot to give this post one!
Soo today is a Monday. If I were a celebrity and someone else was writing this blog about me, I bet the post would be immensely more entertaining than the one you're about to read. If I were a celebrity, I would have attended the SAG awards last night, perhaps won something or worn something truly righteous. Instead, I didn't do any of that so thumbs up for sticking with me .. especially to my one follower;)
Monday Monday Monday .. today I had a great day. I went to my classes and they were thrilling. Foodborne was once again the highlight of the day, with a fantastic discussion on explosive diarrhea. So thanks for that, Bernie. Along with the explosive diarrhea, although completely unrelated I assure you, was a photo of 2 people from the society serving food and being bad examples of it and then the next slide? A photo of me ..doing yoga. What up, warrior 1 pose? So delightful to see yourself looking foolish up on the screen ahha Bernie is just lucky that I have a sense of humor!
Next was the gym. Where I ran 5k and then worked on my next project: bosu ball. It is my mission to bring this thing to popularity and when I get a big following / book deal, it will be awesome to see that happen. Hahaha so this is what I did this afternoon:
1. 10 lunges per side
2. Hop up, squat twice, hop down. 10 times.
3. Running on the bosu ball (hard to explain, but amazing for increasing speed for runs.) 2x25
4. Hop on, hop off to the other side, turn and repeat. 15 times
5. Situps on the ball, 15 times.
Was so much fun .. I'm going to make a list tonight and make sure to bring it tomorrow. I'm pretty sure the 2 girls also in the room with me thought I was completely mental, but I can't even be bothered caring. I LOVE these things and I am in way better shape than them anyway ;)
Next on the agenda was a visit to the barns, where I chatted with Patricia and Valerie and a girl named Emily. It was nice to see some familiar faces (both horse and people) but crazy how much changeover that place has seen! I stayed for about 90 minutes and then all feeling in my limbs, and especially toes, had left me so it was time to pack up and go home. Once I got home, I had a delicious chicken breast and some rice ..followed by a healthy bag of popcorn. Also to be eaten this fine evening: yogurt, strawberries, a large cup of tea to warm me up and perhaps some crackers and peanut butter? I like to eat ..sue me.
Also, I will spend the better part of the evening reading over my notes for anatomy& physiology while wishing for the snowstorm to actually arrive on Wednesday. Which will create yet another storm day and I will rejoice. For now, it's -20 out and that is very cold. Meaning the rejoicing is minimal and mostly centered around the fact that I am not at work right now and am instead curled up in my bed in pajamas! Now, if only that cup of tea would magically appear in my hand ..hmm
