Tides they are a a changin'

I have big plans for this AM. I am sticking up for myself at the barn. I know what you're thinking -big deal, right? Well. It is a big deal. I've been at the same barn since I was about 13 years old and it feels like home. I know the horse world is fraught with ridiculous nonsense so I've never really said anything to the person I have the issue with.

Until this morning. Today I am going to the barns nice& early and having a serious face-to-face adult conversation. The person finally accumulated enough bad karma to have me talk to her. I don't know how it's going to go over. In my mind it goes very well and it's quick, short and to the point. My fingers are crossed that this morning goes as well as I'm hoping. When I get back from the barns, I will recap the situation. I am actually excited to say all this stuff to her because I've been mightily taken advantage of there for a long time and what is the thanks I get? Negative stuff being said about me behind my back.

People of this blog, here is a lesson the barn owner is about to learn the hard way. When you have an issue with someone, you would be wise to speak directly to that person instead of to others about them. 2 big reasons for this are that A)other people will twist your words& B)you can usually come to a much faster resolution when you deal with one another directly.
