Tri-ing to be..

Today is Tuesday. Thanks, Rebecca Black. I am spending most of my day riding ponies, having pony related adventures& whatever else occurs. Sadly, it's raining and the new place I'm at doesn't have an indoor. Just another one of those days that I am glad I'm not made of sugar! Instead, I have a wonderfully hilarious post from Julie over at Tri-ing to be Athletic. She's great so stop on over to her corner of the blog world& leave her some love. If it wasn't for her, you'd all be getting a mediocre post from me instead of a delightfully drawn post from her!

Hello Half Past Wonderful Followers!  I've been reading Yvonne's blog for a few months now and the other day a couple of months ago she asked me if I'd like to do a guest post.  I immediately said yes and then immediately got writer's block.  But, I dug deep and came up with the perfect idea:  A compare and contrast essay!  Since I tend to mostly let my drawings tell my stories I thought it best to stick with what I know.  So here we go: We're both Canadian.

I ran away to the U.S.A, while she stayed in the True North, strong and free.

We're both kinda blogging noobs, having started right around New Year's.

We both have dogs.  Yvonne has Squirty.

I have April.

As the more astute readers may have noticed, we both have curly hair. It can sometimes get unruly.

Yvonne is an expert horseback rider.

I once broke my leg on a horse. True story. I am an expert a dangerously amateur bike rider.

Ok, pop quiz time:  Raise your hand if you think wearing tights as pants is appalling.
